Help! Need actors' recent roles screencaps

I'm trying to keep the galleries updated for our actors in our BEYOND THE EVENT HORIZON section (actors' roles after Stargate) and am needing some 260x146 images.

Right now, as far as I know, I'm lacking:

- Ben Browder in ARROW from "Trust But Verify" from Jan 23. - got a great cap from immertreu. Thanks!

There may be more, for it's kind of hard for me to keep up right now.

I'd appreciate the help.

You can see the most recent additions to the galleries in the sidebar of our blog on the main site.

Also, if you know of a role coming soon for any of our main cast members, please help me out there as well for the COMING SOON section.

It was a wonderful role for him!

If you saw the episode, let's talk about it. If you haven't yet, it'll be on Hulu soon (they have about a week's delay).

Willie Garson played conspiracy theorist and alien Marty and was the creator of "Wormhole X-Treme", the TV show centered around the Stargate and a team patterned off of SG-1 and that the government approved to be produced for plausible deniability.

Now, Willie Garson plays Mozzie in the hit TV show "White Collar" and Mozzie is also a bit of a conspiracy theorist who doesn't trust the government. In the recent episode "Identity Crisis", Mozzie says, "Our government has endorsed a cornucopia of questionable programs: Stargate, MK Ultra, the Space Shuttle..."

There may indeed be a government program called Stargate, but for Stargate franchise fans, this reference may cause a smile or chuckle because it was Willie Garson who delivered that line! :)

The line is around the 10-minute mark for the HULU presentation, which I cannot embed here, but you can catch at http://www.hulu.com/watch/393515#iundefined,p0,s4,d0 .

Saving Hope Renewed in Canada!

Michael Shanks' new show Saving Hope has been renewed in Canada for a 13-episode second season. No news yet about whether NBC has decided to continue with it.

Who Have You Followed to New Shows?

We've seen a few of our Stargate stars become regulars in other shows. Which ones are you following and what do you think of the new roles?

Amanda Tapping - Sanctuary (ended with 4th season)
Rainbow Sun Francks - The Listener (joined in second season)
Robert Carlyle - Once Upon a Time
Jewel Staite - The L.A. Complex
Michael Shanks - Saving Hope

Additionally, some of our Stargate guest stars have also made it to regular starring roles. I can't list them all, but a few that jump out at me at the moment are: Ben Bass in Rookie Blue, Erica Durance in Saving Hope (producer and star), Lou Diamond Phillips in Longmire, and Tony Amendola in Once Upon a Time (recurring).

Let me know if I missed anyone!

No Fifth Season for Tapping's Sanctuary

Sanctuary has been cancelled after four seasons. Rumors have been circulating for a while since no news was forthcoming since the season four finale in December. Sanctuary was in being independently produced, originally airing as a web series until SyFy picked it up for its network as well as for its innovative use of green-screen technology.

Amanda Tapping (Samantha Carter) starred and produced the series along with behind the scenes Stargate alums Damian Kindler and Martin Wood. Christopher Heyerdahl (SGA's Halling and Todd the Wraith) and Ryan Robbins (SGA's Ladon Radim) were other Stargate alums that rounded out the regular cast, not counting the numerous familiar faces who were guest stars.

Joel Goldsmith Has Passed Away

He composed the music of Stargate and now he has passed away at the age of 54 of cancer.

Update on Garry Chalk

Here's a brief profile about Garry Chalk, who played Russian Army Colonel Chekov on SG-1. He'll be attending BotCon in Dallas in April: DAVID KAYE AND GARRY CHALK OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED AS BOTCON 2012 GUESTS.

I never knew how extensive Chalk's voiceover career is. As far as his recent appearances on TV, I just saw him on Alcatraz, did you?

Find out more about Garry Chalk's Stargate episodes in the Stargate Wiki.

Have you been watching AMC's new show Hell on Wheels about the building of the Transcontinental Railroad to link America from sea to shining sea? Christopher Heyerdahl's got a recurring role in it! There have been several interviews with him published lately; here's one of them from Hit Fix.

Hell on Wheels has a few other familiar faces: Colm Meaney and Ian Tracey.

It's a Syfy Original Movie -- 9/8c!

There's more about it at Solutions Blog (includes links to interviews and clips).

Do you like these kinds of monster movies? Will you watch this one?
